Hi! This is Blizzard. S/he is 8-12 weeks old. Blizzard was given to me about 4 weeks ago, by the owner who rejected Blizzard because the baby was making "crowing noises." I havr heard no such noises, and feel that they would not have begun so early in any case.

I have not had many silkies, and none so young. I have no insight into whether I have here Ms. or Master Blizzard.

    Thougts?

    Thank you!!!!

It's really early to say a lot about a Silkie but the bird is definitely giving off very masculine vibes to me. That comb is huge and body is very cockerel-looking.

Some cockerels will crow that early, though not many. I've had a few Sizzles which did so.

I have to agree too. That is a big comb for a Silkie at 8 to 12 weeks. My grown girls don't have that much.
