I's brahma's good mothers?

I have 6 brahma's, 2 of my hens is laying on the eggs but I'm worried because this is the first time my brahma's layn and the eggs are gonna hatch in two weeks. Are brahma's good mothers?

The first breed I ever had (about 50 years ago) were Brahmas, and they were decent mothers as well as gentle giants. Our Brahma hens raised a couple of broods for us.

No you don't need a heat lamp. Heat lamps are responsible for a lot of coop fires. Feathers are excellent insulators and the mother will keep them warm.
