Is by black EE a male?

    I have two EE ( one white and one black) the black one is starting to crow.

    First off that looks like a silver laced wyandotte, not an EE, and secondly that looks like a rooster.

    thanK you that is what I feared. This is the first chickens I've ever had. Unfortunately this one is my kids favorite :-( Where should I look to get him a local home, not terminal?) I'm in Cincinnati OH.

    I'm not really sure where to get him a home. I assume you can't keep roosters. Maybe just look around and post adds on places..That's what I do when I can't keep roosters. I hope you find him a home.
