Hi there,
The reason I got into chickens is that a year ago 2 hens and a rooster were abandoned at my house. Now I'm hooked. The two hens are RIR, and the rooster is white. The people who had them said that they had raised them from chicks. This is a great rooster, he is very protective...chases the dogs and if my Thoroughbred is making too much noise, he chases him also! This rooster also has huge spurs...2 inches long. Is that normal? He used to attack me, but now, we are friends. What do you think, a white RIR, or a mix?
Thank you in advance.
Renee
