Is it a dud?

My muscovy is setting on 2 eggs. We are on day 23 ....I candled..One egg I could clearly see veins a black mass about 1/3 of egg and movement! The other egg looked 1/2 empty and 1/2 dark. I saw a dark small ring,,,nothing blood colored and nothing moving and it seemed a little liquidy (I did not shake it!).

What do you think , possibly good or dud?

Well you've got 5 more days till hatch time. 1/2 filled is bad, I'd remove it.

if ur close to hatching why not ride it out see what happens u never know really up to you but i personally would see what happens

yea i'd leave it in with mama, might as well only a few more days to go might be lucky and get two!

Muscovy take 35 days. You have a ways to go to hatch. I would leave them and wait.

muscovies take 35 days to hatch let them go for a week and recandle
