    Starting to look like a cockerel, but not 100% sure yet. Give it a few more weeks. The barred chick is definitely male.

    I am lost with my brown bird :,( I think it was a quail but is it actually a pheasant? ? Sad.

    Could be a jumbo Coturnix, I'm not really familiar with quail or pheasants. They all kind of look the same to me when they are young.
