Is it a good idea to introduce 2 year old silkies with young bantams ?

Hi all,
We would like to go and buy 2 x 2 year old silkie hens and then put them in with our 4 x 18 week old bantams, is this a good idea or will it be doomed ?

They all free range in our garden during the day. Thanks for all advice.

you can do that, by introducing them through a poultery wire for a week or so, no direct contact, but please if you buy new stock, make sure you quarantine them first to know that they are healthy.
