    I'm beginning to think this is a rooster, I'm new to raising chicks so I'm not sure.

    First suspect, at that young age, roo. That is the first thing that pops up with a Cockrell. Best of luck with him.

    #1 looks like an Australorp. Right now it's looking like a pullet: not enough red in the comb. And #2, looks to be too much red. So, I suspect it is a roo.

    I bought them from tractor supply and black ones they said black sex links

    Did you get it from the bantam bin? If so it could be a OEGB if not it could be a Welsummer or a Light brown Leghorn.
