I ordered a few White leghorns early this spring. Some of them had grey legs and some yellow legs. Does anyone know what this means? Hen or Rooster? leghorm or not?[IMG][IMG]

Depending on where you got your your leghorns may depend on their colors. For exampel:Ideal has 236 leghorns hat have black spots on them. They were bred this way for max egg producton. Ideal states on it's site that if you dont specify that you want all white leghorns, they may subsitute the 236's. Dont know if this if helps you.
Definately post pics, then we can answer you better.

Quote:No. If they are both the same breed then leg color should be uniform for both sexes.
