We have been waiting a long time for this, Silver Sebright bantm IS IT FERTILE?
I am gonna say no.... but I may be wrong it may have been in the really early stages...
here is a great link to some great pics
I've look at so many and I just want it to be, you know what I mean.
i think it is
Looks like it. Mine tend to have more defined bulls-eyes, but yours looks fertile to me.
I'm no expert at all but my first thought was that yes, it's fertile.
I think it's fertile too. It's not as obvious as some I've seen, but the infertile eggs don't show any color variation.
We are collectingeggs for the next few days and putting them in bator. We will candle at 3 days to see.
Have a new young rooster with the girls, think he might have figured it out finally.
Just keep in mind it my take closer to 7+ days with cndling, so if you don't see anything at day 3 don't give up on them.
It looks like it could be fertile. How long has your new boy been with your girls? Day 3 of incubation is a little early to see anything. You may want to candle again at day 10 to be sure. I have had some I didn't think were developing but when I checked again at day 10 they were. I marked the eggs so I would know which ones they were.
