is it just me or did the price of Advantage go through the roof??

Ok...that just got printed! You can bet we'll be buying a box of the large dog stuff this year! Now....where to locate a syringe with an actual needle in it....

Call a diabetic an they will have plenty.

This place has a 6 pack of Frontline plus 1-23 pound cat for $47.90.

I order my cat wormers from there. Less than half the price at the vets. I pay about a $1.15 per pill there and at the vets is $6 or more for 1 pill.

Yes it is!
And to think- I used to get it for free every now and then from the sales reps and 10% over the clinic's cost when I needed to buy it. (One of the benefits of being a Vet Tech.) It makes me sick to have to pay full price for it since I became disabled and had to quit working. Now I know how the clients felt.

I'm going to try DE on my cats this year and see how that works for fleas.

By the way..when I quit working 4 yrs ago. The patent had just run out on Heartgard and we were selling the generic brand for a lot cheaper.

You can buy syringes with needles at the feed store, i get them all the time here anyway.

I had the same experience a couple of years ago with my cats. We only use Advantage.
Yes, it's gone up. Not only that, but the vet barely keeps it in stock

I have a web site where you can get heartgaurd plus without a script and generic heartworm meds at a lower price. Use at your own risk as these meds can kill if your dog already has heartworm disease. I give the heartgaurd plus year round. I'm sure they also sell flea meds. I have used this site for years because I had a Dobe girl with DCM and her meds cost a fortune at the cardio vet, this site was way cheeper. They have always had excellent customer service and nothing has ever been confiscated by the post office.

Frontline doesn't work on cats. At least not for me. My vet agrees though, he reccommendg Advantage for fleas and Revolution for ticks/mites.

Great bit DITTO for me as well!!!!!! I usually buy Advantage but I opted for Frontline because I found it really inexpensive. Had it shipped to me and was happy with it until both my dogs started itching less than a week after application. Then, about two days later I started finding adult fleas on ME!! I reapplied but didn't work again. I was really angry. It seems to work for my cat but not my dogs. I won't ever buy it again.

As someone already mentioned, www.jefferspet.com has good prices and excellent shipping. Verified US sources. I won't use anything on my pets that isn't US produced.
