    [​IMG]I am not sure of the breed but does it look like she is missing tail feathers???? Of course why would this be?

    We adopted her a few months ago previous owner said she was a year old. I am pretty sure she had tail feathers then.

    She looks like a Buff Orpington.

    I think she looks a bit small to be a buff orpington, but not out of the question. If she's missing tail feathers now but had them before, it may be something to worry about. Is she molting at all?

    She is one of 8. They all seem healthy but my new rooster chases her a lot

    I had some hens losing a bunch of feathers to an overly aggressive roo, but mostly neck and back feathers - not tail. That may be a possibility though.
