Is it normal for a Sussex the have red legs and butt during molt?

    I haven't seen such red skin other than an infection. Her legs and feet are bright red as is her butt. She is in the feather regrowth stage of molting with one-inch long pin feathers. Normal Sussex skin is white. She seems normal in every other respect.
