I have a 5 week old aruacana pullet along with a barred rock rooster/hen (not sure yet) and a welsummer/brown leghorn pullet (also not sure) The araucana seems to be getting a bald spot on her neck. Is this from pecking or is this normal? Thank You :D

At this age, many chicks get some bald spots when feathers/down falls out and hasn't grown in yet. It could be from picking, but if the skin doesn't look irritated, I think that it is normal.

i was just wondering because there is a possible rooster in the group that could be pecking and the skin is still pinkish
