Is it normal for chicks to poop some runny poo?
I am not sure but would like to know because my chickens are 10-12 weeks and they on occasion poop A runny poop.
I dunno, mine are roughly 3-4 weeks old and they still do that more often than not.
It is absolutely normal. Chickens have lots of different poo. Reading, talking and posting pix of chicken poo is the official obsession of BYC. So here's my contribution:
Cecal poop ought to be one of the "sticky" topics here ...that and full crops.
Quote:Ok, so you know your a good chicken person when you can look at pictures of chick poo while eating a breakfast of scrambled eggs, french toast and ham thank you though, I feel a lot better about all this!
Quote:Yes and the runniest is the stinkiest. It's close to cat crap for odor then.
