Is it ok that mice are in my coop?

Not good.
They carry disease and steal food.
Traps where the birds can't get caught in them if you can.

I have cats that I raised from when they were 6 weeks old. They were raised along side the chickens and even cuddled underneath a broody mama when they were just little kittens. Now my cats hang out with the chickens and *voila* no mice

I wouldn't think mice are good in the coop due to the same reasons stated above. They are disease carriers and food consumers. -would attempt to eliminate. Trap and find the source of coop entry. -would close off that source.

a couple things could happen...the chickens may eat the mice or the mice may eat the chickens food. I've known of a lot of chickens to eat mice and they've been fine but you never know. Like someone mentioned above, if you have cats raised around your chickens or cats that are just good with the birds then you shouldn't have much issue with mice

I have a cat but he is so old he does not chase mice anymore. And I cant get another cat cause my current cat hates other cats. Thanks

I dont really care if they eat the chicken food I just dont wantmy chickens getting sick.

My chicken ate a mouse that my cat though was a kitten once. Then she chased the chicken trying to get it back.
