If you bred a blue laced red roo to blue hens, you will get mostly solid colored females and males that show some lacing. If you take those offspring and breed them back to a BLR you will get some BLR that are smutty, then breed those back to a BLR and you get your own sub-line of BLR's.

    tazcat70 I must be crazy!

Smutty? Does that mean that the lacing is not well defined?

What I mean by smutty is that the red in the center might have some black or blue in it. The lacing more than likely will be decent but the center color will need to be worked on. In my BLR bantams, they have smutty tails. The main tail is supposed to be solid blue, but there is some red in it, in the breast, it almost appears to be a faint double lacing on some.
