is it ok to feed a pet chicken plain natural tortilla chips

Hi,
I have a pet chicken and she loves tortilla chips. I guess because of the corn in them. I was wondering is it ok to give them to her once and a while. Thanks for all the info on chickens its a great site and great people.

I wouldn't feed them to your birds. They have too much oil and salt in them. A chip once in a while won't hurt but I personally wouldn't do it, there are plenty of other more healthy treats to consider.

I feed my girls tons of scraps from the kitchen and they always get stuff like that. (they love it) I have several really old hens still laying eggs so it must not be too bad for them.
