is it ok to refuse to sell a chicken someone?

    is it ok to refuse to sell a chicken someone, because I feel as though they are crazy??

    Until money changes hands or you've entered into a contract, the chicken is yours and you may do what you'd like with it. Just drop them a line that you're sorry but you've changed your mind and you're going to keep the bird after all.
