My pa-in-law put two containers of tomatoes into my freezer. He said they were all peeled, cut-up and ready to can "whenever I got around to it". Well, that was two months ago, because I'm a teacher and the first few weeks of school are so busy. So the tomatoes are still in my freezer. Can I thaw them out, bring them to a simmer, and then hot-pack can them? Or does this sound really dangerous?
