Is it okay to get only male ducks?

I want to get 3 little male ducklings as housepets. I have no intention in breeding. Is it okay to get only male ducks? I'm afraid that they might try mating with eachother when they reach sexual maturity and upset eachother?

No, I had 3 male ducks, a Pekin, a buff Orp, and a crested duck make all together at 7 months old. If they grow up together they will be perfectly fine

If you had one and a duck diaper it maybe wouldn’t be to mad. But 2 or more wouldn’t be fun

It will likely be fine until their first breeding season. At that point it could be fine or they could start fighting. Recently a BYC member with two male ducks and no female ducks reported that their ducks began fighting after 4 years of friendship and were injuring each other. Ducks are individuals and no one can predict what will happen for sure.

males are fine together, and ducks can wear diapers. my pekin boys are two and love their diapers and each other lol

also, males tend to be healthier because they do not have egg issues. just do not get pekin because they have leg issues because of their weight
