Is it possible to develop crele coloring in breeds other than OEGB?

I raise Spangled Russian Orloffs...and I just acquired a very rare Cuckoo Orloff rooster. I'm going to use him to make Crele Orloffs. They're already a recognized variety of Orloffs....they're just insanely hard to find.

But I happen to know someone who's very good with projects...especially creating new varieties.

He's going to help me with this project.
