In southern Tennessee in Lincoln county there was a bird flu outbreak early this month. I can not find a stop shipping order for Tennessee only Alabama. The place I want to buy chicks from is 100 miles away from the outbreak. Would it be safe to buy these birds.

the post office would not ship them if there is a do not ship order would they?

    On the MN prairie.
You might want to contact your state Dept. of Ag.

I'm in TN and as far as I am aware there are no sell bans in effect right now. There is for Alabama but I am not sure how long it lasts. Ag Dept should be able to give you further information. Hope this helps!
