Is it safe to eat a cracked egg?

I posted a little while ago about my girls not laying in the nest boxes, however, until today it has not been a problem. One of my hens laid on the floor again, which they scratch the bedding away from until it is just plywood, and then lay, and today one of the eggs has a slight indentation on one of the ends. Nothing is leaking out of it, but I was just wondering how sanitary it is. I know that eggs can crack in the net boxes too, so hopefully any responses will answer any questions that may arise when they begin laying there.

I would still eat it if the membrane is still intact but I would do it quick like within the next day or 2

I agree...but when I find a cracked egg I usually scramble it up and feed it to the girls
