Is it safe to free range geese with bobcats and racoons?

Hi, we have three Embden geese fenced in electric fencing with chickens, however, they are bullying the chickens and this morning the rooster was bleeding on his crown. Perhaps it's a nutritional deficiency. Maybe the geese aren't eating enough protein? However, I have read that if in a pen with chickens they can be pretty aggressive towards chickens.

My question is: Would it be OK to let the geese free range during the day but keep them in closed in housing at night? We have lost chickens and ducks to bobcats during the day. Would geese be able to scare them off?

    Thanks,
    Marshykat

Better choice would be to divide the fencing down the middle so all are safe. you could use the plastic poultry fencing that is at Lowes or reg. but if you have preds like that during the day your geese and mine are all bluff and could not fight off a bobcat.

    Geese are no match.
Can you not divide them off from the chickens without leaving them prey to the bobcats? Like extend the electric fencing next to the chickens that keeps the geese in their own territory? I doubt that the injury is a nutrition thing, just a goose thing.
