White Crested Polish, 7 weeks old, no sign of crowing. But (s)he is bigger than the other WCP, and the wattles are definitely more pronounced and red, plus there are some irridescent feathers on the wings and back. Have I got a roo here?

I vote roo, judging by the tail feathers.

    IMHO,

Quote:Yeah, that was one of the things that got me thinking rooster. The other WCP has a much neater (relatively speaking!) crest, and I've heard the roos are "messier" looking.

Guess we wait and see if and when (s)he crows! Or lays an egg. Either way, we'll know for sure.

With out a doubt Molly is going to have issues if you don't rename him Monty. The females have a very round pom pom crest, the roos kind of a wild, willow tree dropping crest.

Are you going to keep it if it is a boy? Too bad you arent closer, if you were going to get rid of him I would totally take him!!
