Can you post a pic of the birds comb straight on and in good lighting please?
I am leaning toward a rock as penciled wyandottes are far less common.

Yeah that’s true!! Definitely pretty rare but then again pencilled Rocks are pretty rare too but definitely more likely than a Wyandotte I would think. Can you post a pic of the birds comb straight on and in good lighting please?

You think shes a americana?I have noticed that Americanas can have completely different coloring from each other. Picture one is a relative's Americana and picture two is mine. They were from the same hatchery.

Thank you all so much for helping! She is a mystery! That comb is not a rocks comb.
Maybe she is a dark brahma that happens to have clean legs.
Hatchery birds can be a mixed bag of not conforming. I have a hatchery faverolle that doesn't have the extra toe and a "giant red cochin" that is definitely NOT giant and not bantam myself.
I don't know! Just noting that they can have different feather colors and patterns even in the same breed. Unfortunately, I am not an expert on breed identifying. This thread might help:You think shes a americana?
I am going to say that she is a silver penciled rock with a weird comb, all of the pictures on google look like her.Thank you all so much for helping!
