My baby duck hatched with what looks like (but not sure) the egg sack.
I’m not sure if it is the egg sack because it appear to actually be attached to his/her bottom or stomach?

He is still breathing and chirping ever so often. Will he recover or do I need to pull this bulge away or something. I just don’t want to do something wrong and pull all of its intestines out or anything?

Here is a good picture.

He has been semi-naturally incubating under one of my hens.
I know duck eggs usually take 28 day to incubate but at day 22 the first one started to pip and hatched absolutely fine. Yes, once they’ve started hatching I’ve had to bring them indoors and put them in a towel because the hen once it hatched was been very aggressive towards the duckling...

This was the Ducks first time hatching?
Sometimes they don't understand and begin to break eggs the more developed they get. Also attack and kill the Ducklings..is it possible that another Hen was depositing eggs also being the development is so staggered?
