Is my brown leghorn not a brown leghorn?? Dark brown eggs!

As our young pullets have begun laying, I've been trying to figure out who the HECK is leaving dark brown eggs in the box. The only birds not positively matched with specific eggs are an EE, a black Australorp, and this brown leghorn. The EE and the BA are not squatting or even looking at the nest boxes yet, but this girl does both, a lot. This morning I caught her red-handed, sitting in the box for half an hour, then hopping off the darkest egg yet. No one else had been in that box today.

Is she not a brown leghorn?? She can't be a Welsummer due to the ears, right??

To me she appears to be a Welsummer or cross with that DNA.

Both Barred Rocks, & welsummers are supposed to have red earlobes.

Where did you get her? She could be a Penedesenca. They're really rare though, so I'm not sure.
Welsummer is def a more likely guess, but she doesn't totally look like one to me.

I've never heard of a Welbar, boy, they're gorgeous. She does look just like one.
