Is my Buff Orpington a little Roo??

    We have two BO. Gracie and Ruby. They are 3 weeks old. We suspect that Gracie may be a Roo. What are your thoughts?

    This is our suspected Roo....Gracie. lol

    Those are not BOs. They look like pullets though.

    That much comb at that age makes me suspicious too. I think you'll need to wait a few more weeks to be sure either way. I have no idea why someone would say that they aren't buff orpingtons though. I don't see anything in your photos that would lead me to believe that they are anything besides BOs.

    I just don't remember BOs having that dark of feathers. There parents are BOs but those chicks look like something else.
