My chicken decided to go into the hay rack for my goats to lay an egg today and ended up getting stuck between the spaces. When I found her she was not moving. I lifted her out and set her on the ground and she could not stand up. I then moved her into a nesting box where she laid and I let her rest for a little bit. Her eyes where open and her mouth was open as well. I then found a dog crate and filled this full of hay and moved her into this for the night. She is not walking still and can not stand. Do you think she is just physically exhausted and sore or is suffering? She seemed to hold her stance for about 30 seconds when I moved her last.
