Is my duck lonely??

I have 1 Pekin duck and I've heard that ducks can get lonely I also have 12 chickens and she seems fine but I was wondering what ass re the signs of duck loneliness

Male ducks can harm chickens. If your duck is a girl I would get at least 1 other girl friend.

Ducks can die from loneliness. I also agree as the people up there said that male ducks can harm chickens. I would get them a friend ASAP. Like- now.

I agree, I would get another duck or two asap. I have three girls are they're inseparable. When they were little one of the three had to be separated from the other two because she arrived with a severe eye injury and infection and was blind (she now has sight in one eye). We needed to treat her eye and she was absolutely miserable being separated from her sisters for even that short period of time.

Hello. Another Duck Hen would be good. I'm sure she isn't lonely with the chickens although she needs someone to do Duck things with. Good luck finding her a friend.

If you have a kiddy pool with water, it will give the ducks a place to escape from the roosters. Ducks love to be in groups, so I recommend at least two.
