This is Buttercup, Buttercup is an Easter Egger and has been placed in "Time Out" because she can't play nice with others. Buttercup is about 5 weeks old, bigger than the others, and has aggressive tendencies. I've read tons of treads regarding the same thing and know that 5 weeks can be a little too young to determine but I'm hoping you kind people can help.
    Thanks in advance

Buttercup is a cockerel. You can tell by the blotchy color pattern and his comb. Usually pea combed pullets have a single row of "peas" while cockerels usually have 3.

Thanks donrae I love BYC! But I'm sad about Buttercup. I can't keep roosters where I live... [IMG]
