Molly is the best chicken ever. She is such a character that she has made us decide we are going to give our silkies to our friend who has a farm and get another buff orp!
But then yesterday as I was walking up to the run with the some bread in my hand my beloved Mollie let out this almighty honk. It was like part cheep, part honk. I had this overwhelming dread that maybe she is actually a he and that was her attempt at a crow? I have been so convinced since she was small she was a girly for some reason but now I'm having doubts. She hasn't made the noise since and my hubby says she was just excited about being let out ...
Can anyone tell by these pictures if she is a roo? She is 15 weeks old, has a smallish red comb and wattles.
