Please say she's a Betty as I can't keep any boys where I live [IMG]
The hackle feathers look a bit pointed on the photo but I think that's just the dark spots making it a bit misleading.
Oh and she is 9 weeks old.

    Many thanks

Definitely a female (Silkie Mix). Where I am from Betty and Bertie are both girl's names, so call her either one.

They have a true breed that is called a "Goldtop" I believe that is was a cross between a Silkie and Light Sussex and it does breed true.

You know you're tired when you THINK the title says "Is my goldfish Betty or Bertie?", and you think "Oh my gosh! Now people are asking us to sex FISH???" [IMG] I think your girl is a girl - very pretty pullet too [IMG]

Sorry for the confusion, I didn't realise the Goldtop wasn't a worldwide breed and yes they are Silkie x Light Sussex.

Thank you so much everybody for the info, I am so glad that it looks like she is probably a pullet [IMG]

[IMG] I am off outside now to take some pictures of the goldfish in my pond for sexing!
