Hi all!! I’ve been given a Goose egg, and I’m trying my hardest to hatch it. It’s at day 5 of incubation and I’m really nervous if it’s fertile or not and I have NO CLUE what to look for! I’ve taken some photos, tell me what you think please!! 7AB9387E-7D68-4B3D-88D9-72CD824213F7.jpeg 3B82D467-66CF-4A13-974B-F5D799901564.jpeg 79951F1F-D918-4A2F-8928-2A48A1143448.jpeg E67F7273-5263-41B2-A4F7-842DFD5BB05A.jpeg

I know with ducks it's closer to 9 days before you can see the veining pretty good. Maybe it's the same with goose eggs.

Usually 7-10 days depending on how warm the eggs are being kept at.

Candle again at 10-12 days. But it doesn't look good.
