Is roosting on the top of the coop and not wanting to go in the coop normal rooster behavior?
That is "normal" chicken behavior - not a gender issue. For assessment of gender you will want to post a few pictures of the bird in question - a good head shot as well as a side view showing the entire bird in a natural standing position.
That is a polish rooster. 100% sure.
Pictures are worth a thousand words - that is one handsome rooster you have there - he is showing every male characteristic you could possibly look for.
Thank you both of you, but that's some sad news. Now I have to give him away or kill him! My neighborhood is strictly no roosters.
