Is my roo pretty enough to be a show roo?

Here is a pic of my roo Pingu he is currently 5months old and I have no idea of the breed. Others on BYC have said he is a mix but we aren't sure. So is he a show roo or not (you don't have to be polite!)

I have never shown a chicken before, but I think they have to be a full breed, not a mix, don't they? He is a beautiful boy.
 
He needs to be a purebred so judges can compare him to the "perfect chicken" description in the APA Standard of perfection. So, no, he's not. Sorry.
 
My guess is that he's a Golden Laced Wyandotte rooster, although he's handsome, he's a far cry from the Standard of Perfection, probably from a hatchery, so would not do well in shows. Sorry.

Sorry no he would not qualify in a show as a specific breed. However if there is a local 4H show and he can be shown as a "mutt" variety or "Other" breed section, he can be shown.

What all matters, is YOU and how you like him. He is a beautiful rooster.
