Is my silkie a pullet?

    How old is she and can we please have a close up pic of the comb area from the front?

    I can see that your daughter loves her little silkie :) If you could get a better pic, it would really help :)

    I have one that looks just like that except it's white. I think that it is a pullet.

    It is still a bit early, but I am pretty sure it is a male. The shape of the crest and the bright color (in Buff) of the feathers in the tail and wings are male traits.

    That's an awful wide comb area for a pullet..and I'm a little concerned about the spikes in the 'hairdo'...but I've been wrong before. Keeping my fingers crossed that Camille isn't a Charles [​IMG]
