So I've finally (again) broken 2 of my silkies of their broody behavior. I let them out to freerange with the others today, and noticed one of them just standing there, not pecking, not eating. I managed to catch her and gave her a quick once-over. No apparent injury, crop appears to be empty. Could this be "pre moulting" beha;vior, or perhaps an illness..? I'm pretty new to chickies - got the girls in April and they are 7 months old. (laying since August)
