The chicks are 7 weeks old now. They are all growing up and doing well. But... I am beginning to think one of the WC Polish may be a roo. (S)he has much more red and pronounced wattles than the other Polish, who has virtually none visible at this point. There are also nubs on the back of (his)her legs that could (?) be the start of spurs. Maybe? We have looked at pictures, but can't tell for sure. Here is a picture we got the other day. I will try to get a few more shots tomorrow. The good thing is (s)he is one of the tamest of my flock so it shouldn't be too hard to get a picture or two. Any guesses? Is Molly really a Monty? Or a Milton??

Yeah, really hard to see the face under that 'do! And in that last picture, (s)he is sitting on my shoulder. Climbs up there almost every time I go out! Must like the view from up high! LOL

I've been told that having a wacky 'fro means a boy - so I think boy.

Both my girls and boys have spur nubs. But the wattles are a giveaway. I say roo. Name him Monty.[IMG]
