I got a Faverolles hen about 4 months ago. She is 8 months old by now and I don’t think she’s laid an egg yet. I got curious and read about the breed and noticed that they tend to be light colored. My Faverolles is a lot darker than a usual Faverolles.

They come in that color. It's a darker type of salmon faverolle chicken. I found some images that look like your chicken, by searching favorelle chicken colors. It's just not suitable, for showing, doesn't mean its not purebred.

I would agree, it's very likely a pure breed. I have a hatchery salmon Faverolles cockerel, who looks about as much like a salmon Faverolles as I do....

Actually, the black in the feathers is not expected for a female, so maybe not purebred. However, yes, some SF females are pretty dark colored (but not black). We got one from a hatchery that was quite dark colored. This year we got 2 from another hatchery - much lighter overall.

does she have feathers legs and 5 toes?
