Is she molting?

    She has lost quite a lot of feathers and I was wondering if you guys think she is molting. She is the mommy of my beloved silkie, so I purchased her later. My silkie baby keep hanging out with the guineas ans she thinks she a guinea, so now she can have her own kind to hang out with. =) The guineas have got to the mommy's back (tail) feathers, it was bleeding one day, but now she's alright.

    Yes she looks like she is molting. Have you checked for mites or lice?

    I did. She doesn't seem to have any, unless they are black mites... is that possible? cz her skin is black, I would see any of those whitish yellow mites.
