I feel stupid asking this. One of the chicks we got we were told is a Golden Comet. I have no reason to think otherwise, however. Could she be a bantam? Or something else? She is still very tiny and has not even doubled her original size. She eats and drinks and plays fine. Likes to be held. Chirps a lot. But is just tiny! We have had her 4 weeks. I saw the Golden Nuggets gets to be only about 5 lbs vs. the RIR at 7 - 8 (or so I read) This is her the first day we brought her home. Bottom right side. In comparison, the RIR at the top and the EE in the center. We lost the Silver Laced Wyandotte. Today. The RIR is huge! The EE has almost all her wing feathers and has doubled her size, and there is little nugget. Barely sprouting wings and still tiny as can be. I dont care what size or breed she turns out to be, she is the most awesome chick ever! She like you to rub her neck so she can go to sleep and chirps in her sleep and while she is eating. But I am curious. Thanks!
