First found her 5/15 with extreme difficultly breathing. We isolated her and treated for gapeworm. Apparently it was NOT gapeworm. Extension office says more likely a respiratory issue like mycoplasmosis (MS or MG), possible even something odd like a mold or Aspergillosis issue. The video shows what she is doing as of today. Odd breathing and noises with head shaking. She IS eating and today started laying eggs after 18 days of none. She has been separated for 18 days. The other 32 chickens show NO sign of sickness.

    1) What does she have?
    2) Treatment possible?
    3) Has she recovered to the best that she can?
    4) Is she contagious still? Time to return her to her friends?

    Thank you for your time.

It looks like some type of respiratory illness. Your local extension office will be more aware of what illnesses/diseases are in your area. Since they mention MS or MG then you may want to research those first. Mold/Aspergillosis are always a possibility.

Keep her separated, MS and MG are contagious and affected birds are considered carriers for life.
