Pictures taken today, right after she ate. She doesn't gorge herself....but I've never had any other ducks besides her. Is she an ok size?

Oh and now she weighs 4.8 lbs, she was 4.2 about a week ago. I'm feeding her 4-5 times a day now.

I don't know about ducks but she looks fine to me. We had a duck that was a mix and looked to be the same size as yours. I think she heard you call her fat. [IMG] She looks a little sad.

Hah, ok that's good to know that she looks healthy. I've always wondered as the pekins at the lake are extremely fat. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. Thanks guys!

If you look at the breast area, she will have "cleavage" if she is a healthy weight. If she is under weight, the breast bone will stick out and there wont be cleavage. She is still young so she will fill out more as she gets older.

    She looks lovely!

Miss Quackers our Pekin female has leg deformities and different things, so she looks scruffy, but she eats a lot!!
