Is the a roo or hen?

    I am helping someone out with their chicken. I am no expert in silkies though. Kind of looks like a boy to me [​IMG]

    I know NOTHING about those little mutant cotton balls, but it looks kinda rooish to me?

    We need a full body shot and an age (or guess of the age) to be sure. But from this angle it does look rooish.

    Ok, his/her age is 27 weeks old.

    I would say roo, but at 27 weeks, you should know its a roo. I mean, its 6 months, should be crowing already... Unless he's a smart one and keeps quiet so he won't be rehomed! LOL. But going to say roo. Good tail shot from the side would be good, hackles too....

    I say roo from comb size and the swept back crest. The hackles and tail feathers are also rooish
