Is the vaccine for Marek's the vaccine that will be negated by medicated feed?

Hi. I'm getting my first batch of chicks in a little over a week. I have a question about vaccines, medicated food and such.

Just read that feeding medicated feed will negate the coccidia (I'm not sure if I'm spelling this right...I've seen many variations). Anyway, I did order my chicks vaccinated for Marek's...is this the vaccine that would be negated by medicated feed?

I'm confused...[IMG]c'mon experts, please straighten me out!

No, the vaccine negated by medicated feed (they say) is the one for cocci, or coccidiosis. Assuming the feed is medicated with amprolium, which is the usual "medication," that is. Occasionally feed is medicated with other things, but I've never heard of any of them having any interaction with Marek's vaccine.
