We ordered from My pet chicken and paid extra for sexed chickens.
Well, 2 of the 3 ordered turned out to be males , so buyer beware.

I have also found Welp hatchery ahs sexed chickens, and u don't have to pay extra to have sexed, just hens are more than st. run and st. run is more than cockerals.

Quote:If you want both sexes, I say order all sexed females then you'll definitely get at least one male. If you order a straight run you may get more males than you want.

Uh-oh. I plan to order only females from MyPetChicken this coming Feb. Our 3 roos to 10 hens ratio can't take it anymore, so we really need all eight we plan to get to be girls. I noticed on the site that it didn't say they were sexed on that page, unless I missed it. We really can't have any more boys. Should I be worried?
