I have 3 free ranging roosters and probably a few times every hour they crow. And we think that they are probably bothering are neighbors. So we want them to either stop doing it or just make it more quiet. is there anything we can do with out getting rid of them?

You don't have to get rid of them, you make them a part of you... so to speak, baked, fried, in soups or salads. wonderful memories of chicken repast.

That is still technically getting rid of them though.

Well is it possible to put something on their beaks so they can still eat and drink but they cant open them enough to crow?

Agreed. (with Katy) They are doing their jobs, protecting flock and territory.

I have had pretty good luck rehoming mine on Craig's List. I always list a price, just over what a roaster at the store costs, but if the person "seems right" I then give it to them free.

I've never heard of such, but it sounds like it would be torture for them to not be able to do what they were born to do.
